Little Star Day Care has been serving families in Gilroy, CA since 2014. We're dedicated to providing exceptional care and early education in a warm, loving environment where every child can shine.
Meet the Owner
Maria Avalos
For 20 years I have worked with children from newborn to school age. In addition to holding 33 Early Childhood Education units, I have worked with children at many different preschool and child care facilities. Two of these included five years as a preschool teacher at the CCLC at Stanford, and six years at the Menlo School as an infant toddler/preschool teacher.
After so many years, I'm thrilled to be running my own day care. I use my many years, techniques and tricks to create a rewarding experience for the children, and myself.
I consider myself to be fun, creative, highly responsible and very active. As a provider I always give my best to teach and guide the children in my care. I delight in engaging the children in their cognitive development, through reading, art projects, circle time, music and dance. I'm very loving, patient and supportive with the little ones. I look forward to meeting you and your child.
